Reviews of The Ritz-Carlton, Chicago

Brian
During my Christmas stay, I really enjoyed the friendly front desk staff and the cleanliness of the suite. The Netflix access on the TV was also a plus. Additionally, the hotel's location was perfect for my holiday shopping needs, with many stores just a short walk away.
However, some of the hotel staff lacked attention to detail and it took longer than expected for requests to be fulfilled. There were also some miscommunications between staff members, which caused some confusion during my stay. These small issues slightly detracted from an otherwise enjoyable holiday experience.

The hotel has a good location and is close to the city center. The staff was friendly and provided good service. I enjoyed the complementary breakfast and gym. The rooms were clean and well-equipped.
The beds were uncomfortable and the pillows were too soft. The noise from the street was disturbing and prevented me from sleeping well. The quality of the Wi-Fi was poor, which made it difficult to work. The price was higher than expected for the overall experience.

Staying at this hotel was an incredibly luxurious experience, from the moment I arrived until the end of my stay. The exclusive amenities, including the Spa & wellness centre, sauna, indoor and outdoor swimming pool, and massage services, made me feel pampered and rejuvenated. The room was spacious and beautifully appointed, with comfy furnishings, and private facilities. The restaurant and bar area was well-staffed and served delicious dishes, and the location was ideal for exploring the city.
There was only one minor issue during my stay at this hotel. While the service was wonderful, I found the leisure/ TV room too small, which made it difficult to relax properly. However, the Spa lounge and spa centre more than made up for it, and I still had a relaxing stay. this hotel is definitely worth visiting for those seeking a luxurious and pampered experience.

Staying at this hotel was a luxurious experience! We were thrilled with the exclusive amenities like the indoor swimming pool, spa center, and sauna. The leisure room was perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring the city. The room was spacious and had exclusive advantages like stunning city views and a private bathroom with upscale toiletries. The restaurant had delicious breakfast options, and the lounge area was great for drinks before heading out. The location was also impeccable, just a short walk from top attractions.
We experienced one minor issue during our stay. The packed lunches we ordered for a day trip were not up to the expected standard. This was disappointing, but did not detract from the overall upscale experience at this hotel. The friendly and attentive service made up for this minor inconvenience. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious stay in the heart of the city.

Our king room included climate control, cable channels and ironing facilities. Subway station Chicago was not too far away from the hotel.

Traveling with my (adult) son, I wanted to indulge a little and we went probably for the best place in Chicago. The hotel is perfectly located, it's high class, close to shopping and to animated nightlife. Hotel staff is very friendly and professional.
When booking the room I have specifically asked for 2 beds in the bedroom. None were available when arriving. With an extra $100 we ended up in a suite with a sofa as a second (uncomfortable) bed.

Nice large room with a splendid view and one could open the windows to get real air.Staff all very friendly.
The decor was dated, a lot of things were worn and a bit shabby, the crockery was crazed. No breakfast buffet and the food was mediocre. It does not measure up to either the Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons reputations.

Great location. Great hotel. Great front desk help.
Service was extremely slow at the bar on multiple occassions Curious that this Ritz is not part of the network. We enjoy the Ritz but do so as a frequent traveler.
